Gulay Angat Festival

 Hi! Did you know that in Angat we celebrating a festival? it is called "GulayAngat Festival" (Gunita ng Lahi at Yamang Angat). It is celebrated every 3rd week of the month of October. This festival is featuring the main livelihood of the Angateños. The whole week of celebration offers different activities and events that is surely loved by its people. 

Let's begin with the Indakan sa GulayAngat. It is a dance contest highlighting the talent of each people in their respective baranggay.

Next is Hapag ng Pamana, wherein each contestant shall create a unique dish using the given ingredients by the judges.

Followed by DepEd Day. This event enables us to gives importance to education and it is facilitated by our respected teacher. It showcase the talents of the Angateños students together with their teachers.

Moreover, we have Laro ng Laking GulayAngat, presenting the different filipino games just like; hilahang lubid, karera sa sako, patintero, palo sebo, dama, sungka, agawang buko at sepak takraw.

Lastly, we have Hari at Reyna ng GulayAngat, featuring the beautiful man and woman of Angat. Free concert and food park. That week was the happiest week of the Angateños because for the second time around our respected Mayor made us feel this kind of festival.
